Description: 1960s MCM Quartite Creative Corp. Green Cast Ceramic Tile LampOffering a spectacular Mid Century Modern cast ceramic tile lamp in various shades of green by the Quartite Creative Corp. I cannot make out the production year (which is usually stamped in Roman numerals) due to the pattern of the tiles and could barely make out the QUARTITE CREATIVE just above the hole for the cord. It measures 19 1/2"h to the top of the lamp and 24" to the top the fixture and is approximately 10" diameter at the widest part. It weighs approximately 12lbs before packaging. This lamp DOES NOT have an on/off button so I have no way to turn it on when it was plugged in so have no way of knowing whether it works or not, but I always recommend getting old lamps rewired upon purchase, for safety's sake. I found just one area where there is a surface chip so it is in excellent condition given its nearly 60 years of age. This will be shipped in a sport utility box from UHaul which measures 15" x 15" x 48" which I will cut down.
