Description: Here's a 2 3/8" x 2" lapel pin made out of plastic with a clasp back that we believe is from 1960 since it came with a bunch of JFK campaign memorabilia. Be we weren't paying attention to things like this since we were a mere toddler that year. What we DO know is that it was made for the voters of Pennsylvania because it says it was made in Trevorton. So, perhaps this hasn't surfaced in your neck-of-the-woods. That election pitted democrats John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson against republicans Richard M. Nixon and Henry C. Lodge. When the results came in it was so close that it was basically a tie, with JFK at 49.72% to Nixon's 49.55%. Even with all the voting irregularities surrounding the totals across the country, Nixon decided not to challenge the election and conceded the following afternoon. This is in nice condition but please look at our images and judge condition for yourself so that you can be happy with your purchase. S & H on this will be $5.50 carefully packed with tracking. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential campaign material so buy with confidence. We will combine S&H even though eBay says we don't.
