Description: On the 1960 Ford Galaxie convertible, 1961 Ford Galaxie convertible or 2 door hardtop, 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible or 2 door hardtop and the 1963-1964 Ford Galaxie 500 and Galaxie 500 XL convertible (DOES NOT FIT FASTBACKS) there is a small seal that installs in the door jamb where the front edge of the quarter window comes out of the rear quarter panel, it is called the U-jam or lock pillar seal. This is the pair of rubber seals with a metal backing, they will keep the water from running into your car and causing rust. The U-jam lock pillar seals take a lot of abuse from the weather and they will shrink and get hard as they age and before you know it water can get into the quarter panels and rust them out. This pair of U-jam seals is an excellent reproduction of the original and will fit great.
