Description: For sale is what appears to be a "Dodge City Daily Globe" souvenir newspaper from 1959, with various articles and ads from the late 1800's. The paper has a date of "1959" and also "January 1, 1878" on the front cover. I'm guessing this was a souvenir piece picked up in the Dodge City area around 1959. Vintage and pre-owned. Seems to be complete. All pages are shown in photos. Has some small tears and small missing pieces on the edges, typical of a regular newspaper of this age. Has some wear at the center fold but is still in one piece. Has discoloring from age. This was an estate find, found in a sewing room sandwiched flat between sewing fabric in a box. Cool souvenir/reproduction item, though it is still 60+ years old if going by the 1959 date! Comes from a smokefree home. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!
