Starting in 1939 the Redskins began a series of matchbook sets distributed by local businesses and available only in the D>C. area. The 1958-1960 set is the 6th and final such set. This lot consists of the greatest QB in Redskin history--"Slingin" Sammy Baugh--also contains the shortest starting QB ever to play in the NFL- Eddie LeBaron, the other 5 players are Wayne Millner (1937-45), Don Bosseler ( current player when set was issued, Joe Tereshinski (47-54),Gene Brito ( 51-58) and Al Demao ( 1945-53)-- all are in good -verygood condition except Brito which shows more wear---I do combine shipping
