1955 Buick Power Steering wheel Column Auto 55 Roadmaster Special Automatic 1956

Description: 1955 Buick Power Steering Column Auto 55 Road Master Special Century Automatic. This listing is for a Buick Steering Column. The horn button (sold in a separate listing with the steering wheel) had power steering on it, so I have to believe this is from a power steering car. I believe it is for a 1955 and maybe a 56 as well, but please confirm it will work for you before buying. The column is mostly complete from what I can see, but I don't know much about the Buicks from this generation. Please see pictures for what is included. NOTE: I had this listed before, but I have since sold a small piece that attached to the lower portion of the column to hold a light socket. The pictures are updated to reflect the piece that is no longer available. The wiring insulation is dry and not flexible. The shifter collar is cracked on one side through the shifter pivot hole (see picture) The horn button contact is there, but the plastic type material that holds the spring broke. The chrome on the turn signal switch arm, shifter arm cover, and shifter arm is in terrible condition. It is missing, rusted, pitted, and dull. The knobs are in poor condition and the shifter knob has what appear to be marks from pliers on it. The shifter pin is flared on one end, but it's not supposed to be. The shaft turns freely.
