1953 STRUNG WENDY 8" ALEXANDER-KINS DOLL Vintage Organdy Dress

Description: Beautiful early strung Alexander kin in organdy dress and straw hat. I had the doll restrung so she can hold a pose. I love the faces on these early dolls with pretty painted eyelashes. There is a little paint wear on lower lip. Dress was yellow to begin with but has darkened with age and has brown staining particularly on bodice. She has underwear and a stretched out slip, socks and black velvet shoes. Her clothes could be brightened with a wash. Her body could use a wash—there are light marks on her legs from wear but not bad in my opinion.
