The time period that these notes were issued was July 29, 1957 to January 20, 1961 or Dwight D. Eisenhouwer’s 2nd term in office. Star Notes are very popular and highly collectible! The $2.00 Legals are a very popular set to collect, they are certainly obtainable and there are only 14 notes in the set. This note has excellent color, nice original embossing on the signatures, seal and the serial numbers, the centering around the margins on both sides is well above average for this series! Legal Tender notes are notorious for bad centering, this note does not have that issue. I grade this note as Choice Uncirculated or a bit better.
