Description: A 1950s iconic armless sofa designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar Furniture model 5526. Reupholstered in a green mohair base with neutral diagonal striped wool loose cushions. A very airy form the sofa looks like its floating on the 6 legs. New foam and upholstery, this sofa was painstakingly restored to exact specifications from original Dunbar catalogue photos. A matching sofa at 77” long is also available to make a nice L shape sectional. The fabric is new old stock fabric form Vladimir Kagan’s personal estate. Would pair well with designs by Harvey Probber, and Robsjohn Gibbings. Unmarked, but the sofa has the Dunbar construction with metal brackets holding legs and no sag woven springs. Dimensions: 98”L x 30”H x 29”D 17.5”SHCondition: Newly restored. Shows very well. Original finish on the legs with some bumps and bruises but nothing that detracts from the overall beauty.
