Description: Here we have up for sale an ORIGINAL 1944 WWII Restricted Map/Sectional Aeronautical Chart of Detroit, MI. V-6. This map has a super illustration as well as in-depth topography/geography of the area listed. This would be the perfect candidate to have matted and framed as it has NO tears or tatters. In fact, most of these maps look like they were never unfolded and are in pristine condition. We purchased almost 100 of these maps from the estate of a WWII pilot. They have been stored in their original plywood pilot's travel box since the 1940's and were in alphabetical order when we opened the box. Large 42 3/4" x 24 1/2" map.
