Description: Up for auction is a beautiful letter sheet cover from a Polish prisoner named Peter Sadowski in the concentration camp in Dachau Germany and was sent to a Peter Sadowski in Bendsburg, Poland. Not sure if it was to the ghetto in Bendsburg. Dachau was the first nazi concentration camp and was the model on which all other concentration camps were built. Priced to sell. Postmarked October 19, 1943. What is unusual about this cover is it has the preprinted envelope issued by concentration camp officials along with the censorship markings. The letter cover is in excellent condition. For the serious collector of Judaica and Holocaust related philately this is an exceptional item. Cover is in excellent condition.
