Description: Selling this scarce 1940s MEN wristwatch. Brand: Montrose Model: Triple Date/Three Registers/Chronograph RARE complicated chronograph/calendar watch! Runs good, all function works, serviced in 2024. ______________________________________Technical details: Valjoux caliber 72C, Swiss made, 17 jewels, manual wind. Features date with pointer, day, month (all 3 with quick correction feature); 3 registers (30min, 60 seconds, 12 hours). Circa late 1940s. This dial is 100% original and untouched. It shows a lot of history and patina. All the hands look original to me with their same gilt color. Original gold plated case. It has some wear on the edges, mistly at bottom & tips of lugs, some tiny scratches. Original finish, disinfected but not buffed. Stainless steel snap back, NO personal award markings on back. Case serial number: 547935 Crown has some hand made engravings (for grip) and pushers have some wear, but are original. Case measures 34.6 mm wide without crown, 43 mm tall, 13 mm thick. The acrylic crystal has been buffed during service, looks great now. Brand new 18mm leather band. NOT WATERPROOF - almost 80 years old watch!
