Description: Here we have a new steel fuel tank for 1938-40 Ford cars and 1938-41 Ford 1/2 ton Pick-ups. Our part number is 40G They are built by Tanks Inc. and measure 42-1/2" x 15-1/2" x 10" 16 gallon capacity. 1½" deeper than stock, 2 extra gallons. This tank has a top mounted fuel pick-up & vent. Fully baffled and has an internal reservoir tray. This is a 'must have' if you run fuel injection. Fuel pick-up assembly can be replaced with our 'GPA' series in-tank fuel pumps. (pump not included) They 'DO NOT' include 'NOR' accept the stock fuel gauge sending unit, but accept the common 5 bolt universal style as used by Autometer, Classic, Stewart Warner, Omega and others. We can do a 'Tank Combo' which would include this tank, an in-tank fuel pump and fuel level sending unit. These Combos normally include 'Free Shipping' also. Contact us for pricing.
