Showing the 1936 Communist Party presidential ticket of Earl Browder and James Ford on the cover in a great jugate photo, it's sixteen pages including the covers, being 5" x 7 1/8" in size and printed on cheap, pulp, dime novel-type paper. And that is why we hesitated in opening it to lay it flat on a scanner so you could see the inside. Since this is in the best shape of any we've sold, we didn't want to damage it. Many of these hard-to-find booklets are broken and chipped-up so better snag this while you can. It's from those turbulent times after the Great Depression and before WWII when some in this country thought we should emulate the Soviet Union's system of government. If they only really knew the extent of Lenin and Stalin's malevolence. And look at how a pitiful, socialist notion has come into vogue again by individuals who are ignorant of, or conveniently ignore, history.
