These extremely small scratches are not visible to the naked eye and can only be seen under high magnification. Gives the coin a muted pewter look. Coin still has some grime. I have attributed a modest value to this coin. 1934 D - VF. Original to semi-original, has purse slime obverse but reverse it is gone - rubbed off. No damages observed. Reeded edge is wide and in great shape. Weighs 6.2 grams, heavy. 1936 D - VF RPM. Gently cleaned coin with just a little grime embedded in recesses. Has a nice re-punched mint mark. Weighs 6.1-6.2 grams.
