1931 Mexico Airmail First Flight Cover FFC Mexico City to St. Louis MO

Description: Mexico First Flight Cover 1931 from Mexico City to St. Louis, Missouri. A visually wonderful appearing cover with a sticker at the upper left dated 1930 showing a plane with the sun in the background as well as mountains. Below states Mexicana PAA, and also Inauguracion Puerto Aereo Central Mexico D.F. A sticker in the shape of an arrow reads Correo Aereo Mexico, and another sticker in the shape of a plane reads Mexico Cia Aerea. A cachet / overprint covers the two stickers. A small image of a plane is above the address. Two Mexico postage stamps are postmarked May 19, 1931. An airmail cover with a star decorated border all around. Fine / very fine condition, addressed to St. Louis, back flap is sealed, browning at the glue seams on the back side as is often seen on older covers. I note a some what similar cover, but addressed to Canada sold for $150 on ebay. A rare cover for the specialist collector. SHIPPING $6.50 with Postal Tracking to addresses in the United States.
