Description: For your consideration Original vintage 1930s brown leather horsehide mouton collar car coat jacket .. belonged to a future WWII US Navy Vet who served in the Pacific Theatre .. his coat around the time when he was in military academy during the 30s Made in USA Marked size 20 No manufacturer label Written on backside of cloth tag ~ a name etc Six button front (like a USN peacoat style) Four pocket front ~ two slash and two welt Shadow plaid interior wool lined Two button fold cuffs Hidden elastic cuffs Belt loops Loop collar Pleated back Three armpit vent holes Leather armpit pads In pre-owned general used condition .. besides belt missing .. coat appears to be in very good condition for its age .. leather feels supple .. no missing buttons .. no holes in pockets .. minor surface wear ~ nicks and scratches .. no holes or obvious tears .. mouton fur doesn’t show any obvious loss .. there is soiling on bottom right side of liner ~ as well coming from bottom right pocket ~ shown in photos Shown on men’s vintage size medium mannequin torso Measures approximately laying flat 20” pit to pit 30” top neckline to bottom 16” across shoulders 24.25” sleeves cuffed and buttoned 25” sleeves uncuffed and buttoned 16.5” pit to bottom Take into account the lined interior and size down a half or so Zoom in on photos for details and overall condition and message with any questions
