He was a writer for both the Honolulu Advertiser and the Honolulu Star-Bulletin. He was on the island on Dec 7th, 1941 when Pearl Harbor was attacked. Please look for my other current listings of photographs and ephemera from Waikiki Beach, Honolulu and other locales. This photo belonged to either the Honolulu Star-Bulletin or Honolulu Advertiser and was used in one of their "Home Products" editions. Shows lei vendors selling to passengers disembarking from cruise ships during the 1930's. Photo Measures 8 x 10 Inches. In Very Good Vintage Condition.
