Description: A charming 1929 book on the history of Niagara Falls from exploration to use of the falls to generate electricity. No author identified but this book was produced by "Niagara Service" and their emblem is shown on all pages of the book. The publication credit on the bottom of the title page is "Niagara & Eastern Power Corp." The main wear issue is wear on the spine where the paper covering the spine is torn top to bottom. The structure of the book is solid and the pages solidly bound. The spine paper could could easily be glued to make it much more attractive and lasting. There is a nicely written inscription on the blank endpaper, dated 1933. Unpaginated, 27 clean and solidly bound glossy pages including the title page. Illustrations in the first several pages follow the historical text, and the rest of the illustrations are photos of the Falls and surrounding area. B38
