Description: Very rare original and superb issue: New York Motorcycle and Bicycle Illustrated September 18th 1924 issue, very good clean condition for age cover a bit spotty, magazine is very good for its 100 year age, paper looks much better and brighter in the hand than my photos at distance and at 72 dpi show, it is still very bright condition with clean white pages, as is the still stapled in the middle a full line 1925 Indian Model 8 page pull out brochure - I always wondered why the whenever I saw a 1925 Brochure there was M number as this is why it was a magazine insert - which is printed on completely different paper to the magazine thicker brighter and whiter obviously not the pull paper used in the main body of the magazine. 50 pages large 12 x 9 inch format, with high quality printing and paper, this is an absolutely superb edition of this magazine. It is a fascinating look back at the world of American motorcycling and bicycling of 92 years ago, it is filled with great period articles and weekly features and and information on all things for the motorcyclist of 1920's etc. Great period photos throughout and some stunning full page advertising and superb features in this issue, on - A full review of all the new 1925 Indian models - I guess this is why they spent on the brochure in the middle, also Anderson set new record at Syracuse, sidelights on the Six Days trials, Michigan Hill Climb race, Indian Prince full test, and many more pages small news items and stories, this magazine is a great insight into motorcycle riding at the first part of the last century, their are also other regular news items and features a really really superb issue and very rare !, plus pages of stunning full page advertising for all the period American motorcycles and proprietary parts makers, including , Cleveland, Morrow Indian, and more, a really super issue packed with superb photos and content and truly fascinating look back at the pioneer days of American Motorcycling.
