1920s Old North Church Boston Bread Card D80 Weber Baking Pulman Bread

Description: This card was issued by the Weber Baking Co. of Irvington New Jersey, as an insert premium with their Pullman Bread. It is recorded in the American Card Catalogue as series D80 and is titled Travels with Pullman Around the World. This series has two different types of fronts and may have been issued as separate series. The type featured here is a photographic image done with a blue/green aqua tint and features images of cities from around the United States of America (and their holdings) The other type features a sepia image that shows a photographic images from a different city around the world. This card features The old North Church Boston The back of each card features advertising for, Weber and a brief description of the featured city. Although there is no know exact date of issue it is thought to have been in the 1920’s, (based on the cars and look of the street scenes in the series). Again this is an educated guess. The card measures 3 inches by 2 inches approximately. The card does have some corner and edge wear, and some spots of discoloration, but it is free from major creases. I have scanned the front and back of the card fairly large for you to be able to judge condition for yourself. Here is your chance to pick up a scarce type card that was issued over 90 years ago.
