Measuring 20x30" this World War 1 era poster dates from 1917-1918 and was printed by Sackett & Williams and was Illustrated by Lawrence S. Harris. It has some damage (pictured) but still looks amazing hanging on the wall. With a great illustration of a soldier shaking his fathers hand before heading off to war, it reads "Good Bye, Dad, I'm Off To Fight For Old Glory, You Buy US Gov't Bonds" and advertises for the Third Liberty Loan. Liberty Loans were war bonds that were sold in the United States to citizens to support the Allied cause in World War 1. It is in a heavy modern frame (not a cheap poster frame) and is ready to hang on the wall...This antique WW1 poster is in good shape for its age with a great image with bright colors. There is a little glare on the bottom of the picture (its not discolored) but this an otherwise sharp looking poster. There is a small tear on the bottom and there is a few pieces missing off the edges here and there (pictured) There is also pin holes in the top corners (also pictured) but its actually much nicer than this description makes it sound!
