Description: This is a rare original antique issue of The Derby Game Bird magazine for April, 1916. This magazine is “Devoted to Games of the Pit" and was published in Tell City, Indiana. This issue if Vol. XXII, No. VIII and is 48 pages including the covers measuring about 6.75” x 10”. I had a couple issues of The Derby Game Bird and this is the last one. This magazine is entirely devoted to game fowl and has lots of graphically interesting advertisements for different breeders and supplies across the USA. Also included are several articles and game fowl news from across the country. This antique original issue is fully complete but both the front and back covers are detached and separated along the spine and both front and back covers have some chips and nicks and small bits of paper loss on the edges.
