The 1915 Cracker Jack Reprint Set includes 176 cards and measure 2 ¼” x 3”, just like the originals. Due to the high prices and scarcity of the original cards, these reprint cards provide an affordable option to the average collector. The card fronts showcase the cards' color-tint likenesses of the players while the card backs devote half the area to a short player biography and the rest to text promoting the set and the product. American, National and Federal League heroes include Hall of Famers Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Tris Speaker and Honus Wagner, plus Miller Huggins, Max Carey, Branch Rickey, Zach Wheat, Edd Roush and Clark Griffith. Three eventual members of the 1919 "Black Sox" squad are present in the form of Chick Gandil, Ed Cicotte, and the scarce "Shoeless Joe" Jackson.Near Mint/Mint (NM/MT): (8.0-8.5) A super high-end card that appears Mint 9 at first glance, but upon closer inspection, may exhibit a very slight wax stain on reverse, slight fraying at one or two corners, or a minor printing imperfection.
