Description: 1910's The Safe Cabinet Company Brochure Series 50 & 500 Safe-Cabinet Measures about 6" x 3-1/2" with four sides, illustrated inside in color . Has some writing in lead on the inside left page (see photos) . Found in a cardboard box inside a file cabinet, filled with business related correspondences that dated between 1903-1921. From what we can read in these letters, from 1903-1910 the former owner was involved in the dairy industry, in dairy product manufacturing and in setting up cattle shows. The remainder of the years he was an executive at Clinton Ice Co. , Clinton Illinois. So we have letters of correspondence related to both industries. Solid with only light paper wear and light tanning. The second page has some computations and "labels' written on the drawing in lead- appears to be pricing for the safe plus delivery. We try very hard to protect your purchase- books and other paper items get sent in plastic sleeves or bubble wrap surrounded by cardboard, other breakable items get packing peanuts, bubble wrap, or other protection to help avoid postal damage.
