Each volume has the bookplate (inside front cover) and stamp (on front cover) of the Dutch historian Everhardus Cornelis Godee-Molsbergen. Externally very worn and chipped, edges worn to the board, corners very bumped and worn down, sun-fading, other wear; one of the volumes has some worming to the cover. Pages yellowed with lots of creases, smudges, foxing, nicks, other blemishes; one of the volumes has a significant amount of underlining in red pencil. Most of the volumes' bindings are cracked to the point of near-separation of the textblock from covers and spine; there are some leaves coming loose. Fair to good working/binding set.
