Watch is clean and is in running condition and sets time. There are very fine hair cracks around the 11 and 4 position. They are very hard to see. Another thing is that the minute hand is gold. Why? I don't know if there is significance to this. This collector had access to all the watch parts in the world as his friend is a master watchmaker. Maybe he acquired the Studebaker that way and left it alone is my guess. In 1902 the Studebaker family bought the Columbus Watch Company and moved it to South Bend where they made their cars. The company was renamed the South Bend Watch Company and made watches from 1902 - 1929. The factory building was destroyed by fire in 1957. SHIPPING: Buyer pays shipping and insurance costs.
