Description: This is a short vintage hardcover book published in 1909 by Moffat, Yard and Company. It is titled Father Abraham by Ida M. Tarbell. It's only 39 pages, has some illustration and it's a fawning country lad's telling of how the President viewed things - caring about each of his soldiers and individuals, rather than just being a king like person. Many of the pages have heavy foxing or brown spots. Also many have edge tears...not sure if you've ever seen a book that had uncut pages and someone tried to separate them by hand, but it looks like that kind of damage, like they didn't get cut by the publisher all the way. Some cover wear and soiling. This is about 7 5/8 inches tall. This will be more clear than the digital photo shows.
