Description: This rare find from the early 1900s is a pocket size leather apothecary or medicine case with eight glass vials, made by Parke, Davis & Company, as marked on the 1/4" x 3" glass vials with the original cork stoppers. I believe the case is made by Becton-Dickinson & Co. - est. 1897; the B-D (seen on the front snap button) is a common vintage logo for the company. The back side of the Snap Button carries the initials C.F.C and U. S. F. The case is very good shape, having no cracks or wear. The glass vials are in great shape. The contents are Not for Use of Any Kind and I doubt at 100 yrs old they would not be viable. One vial does not have the original labeling (4th from the left) and one vial still has the paper seal that was broken when opened. I bought this in the 1980's and decided it is time to sell it. Please review the photos.
