Description: A fine one-piece corner cupboard in black walnut with canted corners, its cornice featuring carved dentil molding surmounting two eight pane glass doors, each with original wavy glass, opening to three shaped interior shelves with plate rails, over a lower case with two paneled doors, opening to single interior shelf. Very good overall condition, with a great surface, some minor pane cracks visible, a small circular cutout on one of the upper shelves, other minor losses, imperfections, and expected wear from age and use. Includes a detailed framed family provenance from the Peter Jones, Sr family of Amelia County, Virginia. This piece is probably Pennsylvania in origin, dating to the 18th century.
