Description: Offered here is an ornately decorated and generally intact piece of 1898 ephemera for an entertainment and ball to be held at Evans' Hall in Kearny, New Jersey on "Friday Even'g, April 16, '98 Commencing at 8 P.M. SHARP". The entertainment is to be provided by the "E.M.A. Entire Orchestra". There were two parts to the ball and the programme sets forth the order of the dances: Part First: Waltz, Lancers, Two Step, Polka, Waltz, Saratoga Lancers, Two Step, Varsovienne, Waltz, Two Step, Lancers Part Second: Waltz, Gavotte, Two Step, Varsovienne, Waltz, Waltz Quadrille, Two Step, Schottishce, Waltz, Two Step, Saratoga Lancers, Waltz The programme also lists the members of the various committees responsible for the evening's festivities. The dimensions of the card are 5 inches in height by 4 3/4 inches in width. This Programme is from my personal collection which I am beginning to sell off.
