Description: I have for sale a souvenir medal from the 1895 Cotton States & International Exposition that was held at the Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia from September 18 to December 31. The medal has two parts that are gilted metal. The medal is 2 5/8 inches long & in a high grade circulated condition with only a couple tiny spots. The top pin back bar reads SOUVENIR. On the bottom piece at the top there is an eagle with ATLANTA below it. In the center of the bottom piece there is a circle that shows a crown with flowers. Around the crown it reads COTTON STATES & INTERNATIONAL - EXPOSITION. The year 1895 is at the very bottom. The reverse is blank but does have the makers name SCHWAAB S. & S. CO, MILWAUKEE , WIS.
