Book is used with some wear to boards and pages, specifically boards have edge rubbing and it seems that spine has been reattached with glue. It seems binding was once shaken, but with the regluing of spine it is now well-bound. There is some damage to rear paste down endpaper (part of it is tearing away from the board, probably from the above repair). There is a penciled mathematical calculation on front paste down endpaper. Pages have age toning and foxing. Missing front free endpaper. Tightly bound copy with marginalia. Scarce.
