Apart from the professionally bound cover circa 1990s, the interior of this book is over 135 years old and so inevitably has a couple of condition points to note, i.e. the first coloured illustration has a small tear down the crease of the fold of the page. Such is the importance of this book, it cost £120 in the 1990s to be rebound and covered, and why the outside is in new-like condition. . By their very nature the Mrs Beeton books were an indispensable part of running a household and so they often don't survive in as good of condition as this one. Please see the photos.
