Description: Here's a smaller 8 3/4"tall antique cobalt Princess Feather pattern kerosene oil lamp made in the 1890s......You are only buying the ONE smaller lamp on the left....the larger lamp is listed separately.....This awesome lamp is complete with original brass threaded collar, brass burner, wick and ruffled pie crust top chimney.. Although I havent used this lamp, it is probably functional and could be used.....all you would need is some lamp fluid....A similar Princess Feather oil lamp is pictured on page 279 of Thuro's book on Oil Lamps......it was one of the fanciest oil lamps ever produced in the 1800s! .....Square font has rounded corners and was hand blown in 4 part mold....beautiful Princess Feather pattern with stair step shoulder......Base was pressed in 4 part mold.....square with highly decorated hollow footed base that is 4 5/8"across.....deep cobalt blue....8 3/4"tall to threaded brass collar.....17 3/4"counting burner and chimney.....clear glass chimney has pie crust top... Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage. Sparkling clean with no haze. ... Brass threaded collar has a small split but is solid....antique solid brass burner is unembossed.... It turns the wick up and down ...This wonderful antique lamp comes out of our own personal collection.
