Description: 1881 The Life of Voltaire by James Parton. volumes 1 and 2.-while there is foxing worth mentioning… it’s only on the first 2-3 pages inside front covers. The other 600+ pages (per volume) have no foxing. Just light discoloration. Did my best to show this with many photographs. These Volumes are in much better condition than the few other listings available, despite having been part of the Library of the First Congressional Parish Kennebunk. “Purchased from the income of the Waterston Fund”. All normal library stickers and markings were removed aside from this historical library sticker, which I felt was an interesting part of the books history, worth preserving. Bindings are both very good. No loose pages. Both were stored in Mylar Protective Jackets.
