Description: 1880’s George Betchel cabinet card. Published by Pullman of DC. Betchel was a MLB pioneer. He played before pro baseball in the 1860’s into the National League. It was rumored he was crooked back on the 1860’s. Betchel caught the first MLB lifetime ban in 1877 while playing for and throwing a game for the Louisville Grays. Card is a little less than 5 by 7 inch in size. Stains, toning and ear. Feel free to ask questions.
