Description: This book is in generally very good condition. The binding is strong, and all pages are clean and intact. There is no writing,highlighting, or underlining. This is an antique pre-owned book and does show some signs of age, storage, or pre-ownership. The hardcover and leather spine shows significant rubbing and some light fading, but is in very attractive condition. The book may have been rebound at some point, but if so, it was very well done. The top of the pages have some small areas where they weren't cut properly, but this does not extend as damage to the pages when the book is open, as I have attempted to show in the photos. The pages and copious illustrations are also in great shape with little to no age-spotting or other easily observable damage that I saw. The date on the title page is 1874, but the preface is dated 1875. There are photos of the book from multiple angles, publication information, and pages.
