Description: This is a scarce antique cobalt blue miniature oil lamp with its original 1875 dated brass collar and brass saucer base....cobalt blue hand blown glass font has Maltese Cross pattern around lower part of font and ribbed shoulder with a ring around middle......Original brass saucer base and brass stem....1875 patent date on the original brass threaded collar....4 1/4"tall to collar....9"tall with burner & chimney.....Lamp is in excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean lamp. Original brass burner has ACORN THE P&A MFG CO emb on the round wick wheel. Excellent working condition; turns the wick up nice. Old glass chimney has ruffled pie crust top.
