Description: The half-dimes are here! Yes, after selling out of these little silver coins, customers reaching out and asking for more for sale, we are seeking out marketable specimens to offer to you here. The half dimes are interesting denominations to collect now, but at the time - from Washington's time all the way to the 1880s Gilded Age - it made sense. After all, small change needed to be trustworthy, hard silver. But the half dimes sure are little. This 1862 with Arrows Seated Liberty half dime, high-end Very Good condition, is a wartime issue, minted, put into circulation, and likely hoarded during the Civil War; but it circulated sometime, maybe post-war. This is Type 5, legend on the obverse. This one would be in a medium-level condition designation if not for the missing letters in Liberty on the shield; so there is PLENTY of detail on this one (which is good news for a half-dime sized coin). There's a lot of history in this small coin - for you to consider!
