USUALLY THESE ARE IN A BETTER MATERIAL FOR AN ADULT. FASHIONED OF BROWN SILK WITH INTERIOR MECHANICS IN FULL WORKING ORDER AND FULLY ENCASED IN A SILK DE CHINE LINING. BRASS SLIDE OPENS WITH A SLIDE HOLDING THE HANDLE. THE TOP FINIAL IS TRIMMED IN SILK CORD WITH A GLASS BEAD AND DOUBLE METAL TOPPED SILK FLOSS TASSELS. CONDITION: SEVERAL SMALL SPLITS ARE BEGINNING TO THE INNER SILK LINING WITH SOME SMALL FRAY AROUND THE BRASS SLIDE AT THE TOP. WOOD HAS SEEN MINOR CRAZING TO THE SURFACE WITH NO LOSSES.
