Description: Up for sale is a nice, large map of Massachusetts and Rhode Island published in 1842 in Morse's North American Atlas. Early map of the state. Nice detail. Atlas was published by Harper and Brothers in New York with a copyright of 1842. Morse's Atlas is one of the early large scale atlases that focused on the United States. Great piece of history. Map is approximately 15 x 18 inches. Overall in fair condition with some light brown staining on boarder areas. Map is colored as originally published. A nice piece that will look great framed.
