Description: I am selling an 1834 Matron head Large cent, small date, large stars, medium letters variety (the date is nearly completely worn, however, the shape of the 4 can be made out as the last digit with a good eye). Even though the 3rd digit is not clear, this has been identified as an 1834 Newcomb 2 variety, and we can eliminate 1824 as a possible year as all 1824 large cents have large lettering on the reverse. The coin pictured is the coin you will receive. It has been cleaned at some point and has some scratches.
