Description: This is a scarce 15 sided open pontil original 3 mold blown toilet water or cologne bottle from the 1830-1840s era with its original Tam O'Shanter hat stopper. It is attributed to the Boston & Sandwich Glass factory. This beautiful 180 year old bottle is hand blown in a 3 part mold with a rough open pontil scar on bottom......5 3/8"tall (6"with stopper)....2 1/4"across base....15 panels around bottle with shoulder ring (not ribs like you normally see)....clear....crude flared ring collar. The crude original Tam O'Shanter hat stopper has some kind of sticky substance which helps seal it. Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips, cracks or damage of any kind.
