The History of Scotland. In three volumes, with engraved frontispiece to volume one. An Historical Disquisition concerning The Knowledge which the Ancients had of India. In one volume, with two folding maps. Thus, this collection excludes only one of his works - The Situation of the World at the Time of Christ's Appearance - presenting a rare opportunity to own the majority of Robertson's works in a uniform binding. CONDITION In full diced calf bindings with gilt detailing. Externally very smart, with some slight rubbing and wear to spines and extremities. Front hinge of Charles V volume one strained. Internally, firmly bound and clean and bright with just some spotting to some endpapers with only occasional spots elsewhere, pages are uniformly clean. Map plates in good condition with just a few small closed tears.
