Description: EARLY MARYLANDDOCUMENTCommittee of ClaimsWHITE HOUSESt. John's CollegeWestern ShoreEastern Shorec.1792 Interesting printed document, seems to be a broadside about 7.5 x 12.5 inches, old laid paper with a large watermark in the center. A few spots, else clean, good paper. An accounting of accounts it seems, a check of sorts on the treasurer Thomas Harwood of the Western Shore. Money paid out "for erecting a public building upon the Potomac river" i.e. the White House, to St. John's College, judges, a court house, &c. Taxes, Fort Cumberland, &c. Scarce. More historic early Maryland manuscripts posted at this time. If more than one bought - only one shipping fee. ******We ship swiftly and with safety in mind.Thank you.
