Dated 1765 on the map. The map was published in the Atlas Historique de la France Ancienne et Moderne (Paris: Desnos, 1766), a copy of the original title page is included for authenticity. It is not mounted nor matted, being sold as a single sheet as seen in the main pic. Size: The map image area between the neat lines measures approximately 10x11 inches (25x28cm) on a 11 1/2 x15" (29x38cm) page Condition: Good to Very Good condition for its age, approximately 10x11 inches (25x28cm) on a 11 1/2 x15" (29x38cm) page, blank on reverse, with original handcoloring and a centerfold as issued. There is some lightening along the centerfold, otherwise very clean with beautiful color on a strong flexible cotton page with the copper plate printing marks embossed in the margins.
