Description: This is a Matchbox 1/72 Scale Plastic Model Kit of a Lightning T.55 Interceptor from the Cold War. The Lightning T.55 was the export two-seat variant of the RAF Lightning; unlike the RAF two-seaters, the T.55 was equipped for combat duties. Initially developed by English Electric, the production was merged into the BAC conglomerate. The box for this model has been opened, but the kit contains all parts, plans, and decals necessary to complete the model. All of the parts are still on the original factory sprues.
