This is a Fabulous Revolutionary War Era / Pirate / Buccaneer Vest we are offering. This would have been worn in movies such as 'UNCONQUERED' 'SWASHBUCKLER' 'THE CRIMSON PIRATE' 'THE BUCCANEER'S' 'CAPTAIN PIRATE' and many many others about the Revolutionary War or Napoleonic Wars! The Military waistcoat / vest is done in a red textured heavy cotton material. It is long in the front and has 10 gold buttons down the front. All edges on the front of the vest - neckline, center front, hem and the pocket flaps (which are actually over real pockets, they are not just for show) have white white ribbon trim. The back of the waistcoat is done in a red soft brushed cotton and has an attached belt with a buckle. The waistcoat is lined in the red soft brushed cotton also. It has a Western Costume Company label with 'French Soldier' along with a WCC stamp! This fabulous Waistcoat / Vest is tagged a size 40 with size 38 on the label so the back may have been refitted. NOTE: There is some fading across the back shoulders and wear. This Military Vest was definitely worn in more than one production! Please keep in mind the age of this vest!
