Description: 1/25th AMT ’1950 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup plastic truck model - Pro-BUILT/PAINTED This is an outstanding AMT model, reissued by “Round 2.” The molds, cast in white, are engineered perfectly for fit and detail. The model is built stock, straight out of the box. Hood is removable to show the Chevy straight 6, 216 ci engine. First, I carved all the wires and lines from the firewalls and fender wells and replaced them with actual wiring in different colors. I also added spark plug wiring and fuel lines. The interior is western tan with scratchbuilt door and window handles. The exterior is airbrushed with Vallejo acrylic flat black, with a simulated wooden bed with medal tape separators. This model has been modified to make it very, very unique from all others, including the scratch-built the exterior door handles, interior door and window handles and both wiper arms and blades. Plus, I did add the optional sunshade. The buyer will have a complete decal sheet (see photo) to even further customize this one-of-a-kind rendered model. I am extremely proud of this truck! It will make an outstanding addition to your collection. The finished model will be sent in the original kit box, with remaining parts and the original instruction sheet.
